Summary: In part 1 of this toolkit, learn about the many layers of child welfare practice as it is key to providing support and implementing services for children, youth, and families and how this information will be helpful to develop/enhance policies and procedures to inform practice.
Application: Professionals will acquire knowledge on the approach and considerations needed to develop or enhance child welfare policy and procedures based on the examination of issues/challenges that emerge when providing services to children, youth, and family who need support.
