Indiana’s Children with High Acuity Needs Project
Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has launched a multi-agency initiative to better understand and support children with high-acuity needs—those requiring specialized care due to complex diagnoses and life circumstances. By improving coordination across programs and addressing both individual and family contexts, the effort aims to strengthen services and promote overall well-being. Already, a cross-agency rapid response team has helped more than 20 children and families, helping secure placements, stabilize crises, and connect them with critical supports.
