The purpose of this study was to convene key stakeholders across the United States to:
1) Learn how families are engaged in residential
care across the country.
2) Understand barriers and facilitators to
effective family engagement.
3) Define family engagement and the
associated supports.
4) Develop recommendations on what family
engagement needs to look like in residential
care.
5) Advocate for recommendations generated by
this project be adopted.
