The National Center Team

Our Team

Our National Center team of experts will work alongside States, Tribes and territories across the nation to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to improve mental health outcomes for children and their families who have experienced the child welfare system.

Our model includes the intentional leveraging of cross system collaboration between child welfare and the mental health system as the primary vehicle to develop a highly trained workforce that is available and accessible to deliver mental health services where and when families need them.

Guided by the standards of excellence set by the Children’s Bureau, our collaborative work is informed by diverse perspectives and grounded in evidence-based practices from top organizations and professionals specializing in child welfare, mental health, change management, lived experience, community engagement, marketing and communications, and the evaluation of capacity-building and system-change efforts.
