# Experts by Experience: How Engaging People with Lived Experience Can Improve Social Services

This resource examines the perspectives of those with lived experience in the foster care system as a means of developing more effective social service programs. This resource places emphasis on receiving buy-in from those who have come through the foster care system and gives them the platform to communicate what aspects of a social service program is important.
