# Illinois Child-Parent Psychotherapy Learning Collaborative

An exemplar of how learning collaboratives can help clinicians advance their skills. This is a training program aimed at enhancing therapeutic services for families with young children affected by trauma and domestic violence. The program trains licensed or license-eligible mental health providers in **Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)** through an **18-month learning collaborative**. Participants—such as social workers, counselors, family therapists, and psychologists—will gain practical skills and become eligible for **national CPP rostering** upon completion, allowing them to apply the CPP model directly in their clinical work.
